KARATU SIMBA LODGE, Set on a pastoral farmland, Karatu Simba Lodge boasts 13 guest accommodation tents, styled in rondavels or cottages with wooden floors, a solid attached bathroom with a shower, and a private deck with safari chairs. All the rooms are tastefully and simply furnished with hand-made furniture of African hardwood, including double and twin beds with mosquito netting, bedside tables, and a writing desk. The uniquely designed main building with its open atrium houses the reception, bar, lounge, and the dining area serving farm-fresh food and delicious fresh roasted coffee from the neighbouring plantations. Other facilities include a swimming pool with sun deck, evening campsite, laundry, and free Wi-Fi. Activities at the lodge include village walks and visits to local markets, offering a great opportunity for visitors to experience a little more of local life.
